Background and Qualifications
Dr. Senthil Thiagarajan, a dedicated dental professional with a passion for enhancing smiles, has been actively involved in the field since his qualification in 2000. He began his journey by serving as a Senior House Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial surgery departments of various London Hospitals, gaining valuable clinical experience.
Focus on Cosmetic Dentistry and Special Interest in Dental Implantology:
Driven by a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Senthil undertook a transformative 1-year Postgraduate certificate course on “Cosmetic & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry” in London in 2010.
Dr. Senthil’s primary passion lies in Dental Implantology, and he has pursued this interest with an unwavering commitment to postgraduate qualifications. His journey includes Implantology training at the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) in London and the attainment of a Master of Science in Dental Implantology and Oral Surgery from Marconi University in Italy
Practice Leadership
Since 2010, Dr. Senthil has been the practice principal and Clinical Director of Smile Suffolk, where he has successfully led the practice and accumulated extensive experience in advanced oral rehabilitation procedures.
Advanced Training in Dental Lasers
To complement his dedication to dental excellence, Dr. Senthil Thiagarajan has pursued advanced training in the use of cutting-edge dental lasers. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of dental technology, he has completed various master-level courses in Dental Laser applications. His expertise extends to the use of Er:YAG and Diode lasers, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of these advanced technologies. Dr. Senthil continually upgrades his knowledge and skills to provide patients with state-of-the-art laser-assisted dental procedures.
Beyond Dentistry
Outside the surgery, Dr. Senthil finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and two children. Despite his busy schedule, he manages to indulge in his interests, including tennis, cricket, golf, and skiing.
Tracey Reilly

Tracey started her career as a dental nurse over 30 years ago, in the very same building as Smile Suffolk is now. Over the years she has built an excellent relationship with many of our patients, which she feels helps to relax them throughout their experience at the practice.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly interested in oral surgery and implants, in recent years Tracey was and sometimes still is one of our friendly front of house team where she delivers excellent customer service. This led to promotion in December 2022 to the position of Practice manager, where she will continue to develop customer service to a high standard, building a friendly team and implementing strategies to help the practice grow.
Outside of work, Tracey has 2 grown up children and loves family time. She also enjoys socialising with her many friends, reading, cooking, and walking which she does every weekend.
